Kronos Hotels got the inspiration for its name from Saturn itself. Saturn is a god in ancient Roman religion, and a character in myth as a god of generation, dissolution, plenty, wealth, agriculture, periodic renewal and liberation.
Kronos is the Greek version of the Roman God Saturn.
In Greco-Roman mosaics, Kronos is depicted as a man turning the Zodiac Wheel. Kronos might also be contrasted with the deity Aion as cyclical Time. Kronos is usually portrayed as an old, wise man with a long, grey beard, similar to Father Time. In some Greek sources, Kairos is mentioned as a brother of Chronos. However, other sources point out that it is his son.
